Single-handedly she changed the way entertainment news was covered when she became the Entertainment Editor at the Central Florida Advocate. Her one-on-one and exclusive interviews with the likes of Outkast, Nsync, Luke, Salt-N-Pepa, Trick Daddy, Busta Rhymes, P. Diddy, Destiny's Child, Gladys Knight and many more made readers of all ages take notice. Her weekly column "The Haps" made for enjoyable reading the way she provided tidbits on industry happenings via her signature slang. By example she increased entertainment awareness with newfound interest. She sparked a growing trend of independent entertainment magazines in the area. Soon after she established the number one video show in Central Florida called 'My House'. The half-hour music video program was executive produced and hosted by Niecy-D on Time Warner Cable for three consecutive years. Viewers watched charting videos and held front row seats to interviews conducted by the 'Entertainment Extraordinaire'. Orlando magazine featured her and suggested MTV give her a call.N2

When it comes to dance Niecy-D becomes the music
, "I can dance to anything," she boasts. "I know my limits, but have no boundaries. I experiment to take chances and to perfect a signature style," explains Niecy-D. She accepted an offer from a member of the controversial rap group 2-Live Crew to become one of the groups dancers. She met up with the group in Miami, Florida learning the routines in about two hours; "the moves just seemed natural and easy to do," she remembers. Her "Pop That Coochie" video performance catapulted her to the video request forefront. The tour offered exposure and resulted in other requests. "If you consider how much I love dancing and traveling it was the perfect mix for me." Offers to dance, choreograph and appear in music videos flourished. Pandisc Records sought after the popular dancer to work with their Gold selling rap artist MC Nas D. She secured lead in global broadcast videos such as "My Cadillac," and "Gold Diggin' Girls". Rip - It Records nabbed Niecy-D to enhance their artists shows requesting she do select performances offering her a spot in the anthem hit "Whoop There It Is" by 95 South and "Kitty, Kitty," by 69 Boyz and several others.

The infamous and legendary Magic Mike known as the King of Bass music wanted to make a performance statement so he recruited longtime friend Niecy-D who fondly became known as "Treble" his main dance attraction. She gave an unforgettable performance in the "Dynamic Duo" video. She performed the infamous Josephine Baker 'Banana Dance' to promote Revlon hair products at the international acclaimed annual Bonner Brothers Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. The following year she would choreograph a group of runway models to unveil Fabulaxer, a new hair relaxer from Revlon. The routine was a hit.

Whether she's lending her vocals to tracks like "Teenie Weenie" as a member of the Atlantic Records recording group 24K (95 South/69 Boyz affiliates), accepting the lead role as a dancer for a national recording group, interviewing A-list celebs, making executive decisions or promoting her current Southern Classic Mix CD series Niecy-D does it with signature style.
